US NEWS PEOPLE ISSUE #1

Fabricated Meals Made By The Weight Loss Companies That Have Identified You As Their Target And Steady Supply Of Incoming Cash.

The frozen and fabricated meals seen in stores and on television are, of course, partnered with the very expensive diet programs that are out there.

Meals which are provided by the nearly legion like number of the weight loss companies that are out there and targeting you.

Why are they targeting you? Because you like most of the overworked Americans who,  on average, should want to lose any excess weight for health reasons.

Except, like most working Americans that do make more than the minimum wage (They are the very lucky ones.) and the not so sudden and growing number of us that are not and all are using fast food from the nearest fast food location to eat because they are too tired to cook or are not able to afford to cook their own meals even if they get their food donations from churches or the many other and non denominational sources of food.

If you have read this far, then you now the chances are well above average that you are or are about to be one more member of this growing community.

.Yes, if you are asking yourself this question about me, I do fall into this category. Yes I do dislike the spare tire that is the great divide made mostly of fast food and is keeping the upper half of my  torso and my lower half forever on the other ends of this great and unwanted divide.

Weight loss companies that have, as previously stated, been bombarding you with their sales pitches that are almost always out there and right in your face on your television screen

This message ...  to fit into the clothing that you outgrew while you have been passively sitting right in front of your television but is no longer confined to that medium  and now has infested computer screens and any tablet or smartphone and laptop computer that you own ... is always the same.

We are the best choice for you to lose the extra weight that you are saddled with is what this message boils down to should you stop long enough to think about what you are reading and seeing and then hearing from from some celebrity spokesperson..

(Hearing unless you are part of the rare breed that actually turns off your devices for more that a few hours just to feel you are safe from them while away from the digital world..)

One other way that they can get your attention is by the Bold Print Advertisements with the large images of mouth watering food war in your favorite magazines that are on the magazines racks in your local big box and open twenty-four hour big box stores and are also in your own homegrown local supermarket chain

(If you don't frequent big box and open twenty four hours stores that are out there  Disclaimer: Which I don't.)

as you frequently stand in their checkout lanes.

Here are another two ways that they get your attention.

1. You have subscribed to the same magazine on the racks where you shop for your food for the next week or month if you do or don't bulk shop the way I do.

2. E mail

(There are more ways that they do this and I shall be adding them as soon as I discover them and add them to this section of this article.)

Until I get back to that, here are some guidelines for many of you that are considering the use of the prepackaged meals that will come your way as soon as you sign up with them.

If you has signed up with one of these weight loss companies to be you new food provider or just buy them in the already mentioned big box stores and local supermarket. these companies will now be the primary source of a very sudden cash drain from your savings or checking accounts.

Here are some examples of this:

1. One year of membership in their plan comes out to be $359.00 gone from your wallet as soon as you make your involvement with them a done deal.

2. The average cost of food will jump up to $100.00 per week every time you set foot into their world.

Perhaps even more than that. (Note: I went ahead and radically cut my food budget and I won't even suggest you try and do what I am doing .... but I am close to eating vegan and cutting my own size portions down some on the meat food groups and staying away from fast food locations.)

3. Average weight loss per year has been recorded at twenty-three pounds for the average human on a calorie reducing plan totals up to.$237.56 per pound for  individual support and the special food that has been sold to you.

You all will be discovering this facts and more all about this very soon by following this blog which I hope you do and I will find some small joy in this ongoing project

A Reminder:  If you are just starting any single one of of these advertised plans that is or appears to be everywhere you are looking ... you too will start to be feeling the same cash hit as have many of the others that already have gone ahead and signed up with any one of the plans that are out there.

Sodium In Frozen Meals.
.
The answer to this anything but ordinary query about the level of sodium content in the prepackaged and frozen food that is out there can be found on the back of the packages as they sit in the frozen food sections of the big box stores you frequently visit when it comes time to go food shopping.

It is a fact that you may not like what you are about to find out about how high the sodium levels are in the frozen meals that you have yet to purchase or have already bought in a big box store.

[ FromThe Editor: We will do the best we can to assist you in your efforts to lose the extar weight that you have been a home to for most of the past five years ... or longer.]

Here are the guidelines for a healthy intake of sodium on a day to day basis as you go about the daily events in your own lives;

The suggested daily limit of sodium, according to the scientists and the doctors who are part of The American Heart Association is to be less than 2,000 milligrams per day .... far less depending on your age and weight and past family medical history.

The best food grounds containing low amounts of sodium are and in no particular ranking order are these .... Artichokes, Bell Peppers< Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Radish and a Sweet Potato.

Fruits low in sodium are, again in no particular order, Apples, Plums, Dried Plums, Figs, Oranges, Lime, Watermelons, Dates, Sweet Cherries, Raspberries,  Mango and a Lemon.

Now for the frozen foods that are the highest in sodium amounts and made by the person or persons that, unknowingly. who does the cooking of these frozen and high in sodium foods in your home.

Turkey and gravy frozen. Sodium 1654 mg, Chicken fajita strips frozen Sodium 1184 mg, Home style meatloaf Sodium 1660 mg, Swedish Meatballs 980 mg,Lasagna Bake With Meat Sauce 960 mg and these were just a few of the least healthy choices that you could make. Yes, there are just far too many to list here.

So now the question you might be asking yourself is this one .... "What can we do about downsizing our own sodium intake?

Sodium plays a huge role in leading a healthy, sensible lifestyle. If you do not consume enough sodium in your diet on a daily basis, your body cannot maintain healthy fluid levels, and it may have a negative impact on the way your muscles expand and contract, especially during exercise. On the other hand, if you consume too much sodium every day you are at risk for high blood pressure, kidney disease and your body may even experience an inability to properly absorb the sodium you consume.
Setting Limits
The American Heart Association recommends limiting your sodium intake to less than 2,000 milligrams per day. And this may be easier said than done, due to the amount of sodium found in processed and canned foods. Frozen foods can even contain high amounts of sodium in an effort to keep them fresh longer. In addition, many sauces contain high amounts of sodium--sometimes more than fifty percent of your dailyvalue per serving.
Making Cuts
Ways to limit your sodium intake include eliminating the table salt when possible, cutting out bullion cubes and making your own vegetable or chicken broth. You can also cut back on soy sauce and other salty sauces, and replace seasoned salts with salt free seasoning options found in any grocery store. You should also check the labels before purchasing canned items to make sure they do not contain added salt. Look for organic, all-natural and salt-free options when buying vegetables and tomato sauces that are packaged.

The daily-recommended maximum of 2300 mg of sodium for the average person that .
it is safe to say that it is completely impossible to stay under the maximum allotment of sodium for the average healthy person.
If you fall in the category of high-risk eaters who just can't stop eating -- and have been diagnosed with high blood pressure -- you are putting your life at risk.
Many of the frozen diet meals that are advertised everywhere you can look total up to be less than 300 calories. This is not good for your health.
If your prevent yourself from taking in other calories to supplement these three frozen meals a day that you need per day, you will not be providing enough calories for yourself to live on.
The danger of undernourishment is a very real thing. exists. Undernourishment will causes your body's metabolism to radically slow down and  making it even harder to lose weight
.Perhaps the worst thing about many frozen meals is that do not provide enough fruits and vegetables to meet your daily nutritional requirements.
Consuming just frozen diet meals three times a day with no additional fruit and vegetables can and will lead to vitamin deficiency if you don't take the needed steps to remedy this problem with prepared low calorie meals.
